When doing a remodel or building addition your city may require you to provide a prevailing setback plan to
determine what your building setback will be. Usually done with an
architectural or
topography survey,
our prevailing setback map will include the property lines and buildings -with dimensions- along your entire block,
as well as a table showing our calculations. For properties in the city of Malibu we are required to provide a map
showing the rear building and deck lines to determine rear setbacks.
