At M & M & Company we perform over 900 surveys each year including Architectural, Topography, Boundary and ALTA surveys.

I have personally trained James Nelson (L.S. 6831), James Lycklama (L.S. 7525), Brandon Hahn (L.S. 7582), and Mark Danielson (L.S. 7882), all of whom have gone on to start their own survey companies.

I am currently training 8 apprentices, 5 of whom have attained their LSIT certification.

As an expert witness I have given my deposition 8-12 times a year for the past 5 years. Each year 2-3 of these cases have gone to court where I have provided testimony.

Career History:

U.S. Army Map Service, various locations (1965 - 1968)
I enlisted in the U.S. Army and was assigned to the army map service in Belvoir, Virginia. While there I received over 800 hours of schooling in topographic surveying and computing. Other training during this time included 10 weeks testing equipment for cubic electronics in development of long distance measuring devices, 20 weeks in Aerial control establishment for the mapping of Southern Arizona, and 13 months in South Korea mapping along the DMZ.

Spindler Engineering, Van Nuys, California (1968 - 1983)
As a land surveyor and party chief I logged over 26,000 field hours. I designed and drafted for many types of civil engineering projects including sewer, storm drain, grading and street plans. During this time I also attended night classes, completed 36 units of college credit, and was certified in Boundary and Topography surveys.

Since 1983 I have owned and operated M & M & Company, specializing in Architectural, ALTA (for title insurance), Boundary, and Topographic Surveys.

Fees:

Personal Counsel	$200 per hour
Deposition	$325 per hour (4 hour minimum)
Court Time	$375 per hour (4 hour minimum)
Field Work	$250 per hour
Office Work	$125 per hour
